Notification of postponement of Asia Pacific Regional Conference
The organising committee in NSW and the WUCWO President General Maria Lia Zervino have confirmed their decision to postpone the Asia Pacific Regional Conference in Sydney in May 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time they will not be refunding registration fees received as they anticipate holding the event later in the year. Refunds will be negotiated in individual cases.
However, they advise that raffle will go ahead as planned. Under certain States legislation the raffle must be completed within three (3) months of granting the permit and must be drawn on the specified date. Therefore we are encouraging everyone to sell the tickets and return to Pauline O’Malley as originally requested. Please ensure all tickets sold and unsold are returned by the due date for entry into the prize draw. To be included in the draw the raffle must to returned by Monday 4 May 2020.
Let us all continue to fast and pray for all countries to be freed from the grip of this COVID-19 pandemic.
