Since our foundation 1914, the League in SA has united Catholic women in a bond of common fellowship for the promotion of religious and intellectual interests and, social work.
As the needs of the day have changed so has the work of the League. Our current work includes supporting the ‘Walking with Love’ programme—which is an initiative of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference for Pastoral Life— preventing the sexualisation of children, preventing domestic violence and providing practical support to young refugees in community detention.
